Xiaomi has launched the next generation of the smartphones in the Redmi series.
So we now have the successor of Redmi 5A, which was tagged as the best smartphone in the Ultra budget segment that was available at under Rs 6000.
Now that we have a Redmi 6A, let’s compare it with the Redmi 5 and see what all has improved or what new the Redmi 6A brings for the consumers in India.

What’s the change in Xiaomi Redmi 6
With the price being so tired, there is a very little scope in the improvement in a smartphone like the Redmi 5A.
The screen size of the smartphone has increased from 5 inches to 5.45 inch, thanks to the new 18:9 Aspect ratio. The Redmi 6 also gets a full HD display in comparison to just HD display on Redmi 5A.
Even though Redmi 5A has switched to a MediaTek Helio P22 processor in comparison to the Snapdragon 425 on Redmi 5A, it is still at par with the performance, she is the MediaTek processor is equivalent to the Snapdragon 400 series.
Only one thing where the Redmi 6 has seen a decline is the RAM, which is, the smartphone is now only available in a 2GB variant.
Both the front and the rear cameras remain the same along with the same 3000mAh battery.
And since the Redmi 6A launched after a gap of around nine months, the phone is now running on Android 8.1 with MIUI 9.
Thankfully, the Redmi 6A replaces Redmi 5A when it comes to the pricing and is available at Rs 5999. Which makes it the best smartphone to purchase under RS 6,000.
