There is no denying to the fact that Facebook is Losing its ground when it comes to Teens user base.

In fact, they are stats that suggests that Facebook has actually lost its user base in the US when it comes to Teens.

This is why Facebook is pulling up its socks once again to build up a platform that will specifically cater to the young audience.

Since Facebook already has got data that a lot of Instagram users follow pages that post MEMEs and Visual jokes, Facebook is secretly developing a teen MEME hub to win people of the young age.

It isn’t actually a separate platform, but Facebook has a secret team developing this special feed which is meant for only funny videos and MEMES.

There are various sources that claim that the product is actually is being tested by around a hundred school students in a closed beta, who have also signed and non-disclosure agreement with Facebook’s staff.

Techcrunch has reported that the feed of the upcoming funny Meme content is divided into several categories such as, For you, Animals, Fails, Pranks and much more.

So you can take on either of the categories that will filter out content from the main feed of Facebook and give you just that.

Facebook currently has something like this in action, where you click on Pages to see all the updates from the pages you follow, but it isn’t as specific as the upcoming product promises to be.

It is not the first time Facebook has tried something like this to lure its user base.

It does have actually a lot of tools that have been released over a period of time, some of them include Facebook Watch, IGTV for Instagram, which seems to have not done well.

Facebook is yet to announce or confirm about when the feature is going to be released in the market. But the chances are very high that the feature would itself be included in the main app of Facebook.

It will be interesting to see what Facebook brings to the table to keep the young population from switching to other platforms that are less crowded.
