Apple got rid of the home button since the iPhone X last year, so they have introduced another method to activate Siri which is long pressing the power button that is on the right-hand side.

It shouldn’t be called power button Now since it won’t power down the smartphone, so it’s called side button.

So how do you turn off your iPhone X, XS, or XS Max or XR?

Well, Apple was a little creative here.

You will have to press the side button along with the volume up or volume down button together.

When you press this button together, you will get the option ‘Slide to power off’ on the screen, which you will have to drag the slider to turn off your smartphone.

Turning on or switch on my smartphone is rather easy, all you need to do is, long press the side button until you see the Apple logo appear on the screen.

You can also down your iPhone X, XS, XS Max or iPhone XR without having to press the side button and the volume buttons.

To do that you will need to go to the Settings of your iPhone and tap on General, and then scroll down at the bottom to find the Shutdown option. Tap on Shutdown.

This is a message where you won’t have to use your both hands, so I think it comes in quite handy if you want to Turn off ot restart your iPhone quickly.
