5 Reasons Why You Should Buy the Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro

Now that Xiaomi has launched their Redmi series for 2018 in India let’s discuss whether or not it is a good decision to buy their recently introduced Redmi 6 Pro.

Since the Redmi Note series has graduated from being a budget smartphone to a mid-range, Xiaomi has created a new segment and called it Redmi Pro, which is going to have better specs than the Redmi phone.

Here are five reasons why you should go ahead with the redmi 6 Pro.

A Redmi with a ‘Notch’

Whether you believe it or not, the Notch display does make phones look good if they are done better. It also gives a larger aspect ratio since more of the screen can be deployed on the front.

And finally, now the notch display has made its way to the budget segment as well.

Huge Battery (4000mAh)

Another great thing about the redmi 6 Pro is its huge battery of 4000mAh

Xiaomi is known to put in large batteries in their smartphones even the budget ones, but it had been cutting off some battery in some of their recently launched phones, so having a 4000mAh battery in Redmi 6 Pro is quite a relief

You get to use your smartphone for a long time with a larger battery.

Smaller Form Factor at 5.84-inch

The Notch display and a new Aspect Ratio enabled phone manufacturers to increase the screen size and yet keeping small form factor.

The screen size of the Redmi 6 Pro is 5.84-inch, and it’s quite handy to hold.

If you are in the market for a budget smartphone which can still be operated using one hand then this is the phone you are looking for.

Dual Camera Setup with Sony sensor on it

The dual camera setup was started off by the Apple iPhones in 2016, 2 years down the line we are now seeing the Dual camera set up in Budget smartphones like the Redmi 6 Pro which has a 12MP + 5MP camera set up

And not just that, the cameras have Sony sensors, which is the same sensor used in most of the cameras.

Surely, the smartphone camera is not going to be the top performing one, but it is going to perform better than all the other smartphones in this price range.

MIUI 9 on Android 8.1

I understand that the best User experience is to get the Stock Android, but under the budget segment, every Smartphone manufacturers put on their smartphones with custom UI.

The MIUI from Xiaomi is the most user-friendly of them with some interesting features.

The phone soon will be getting the MIUI 10 which brings some drastic changes and brings the custom skin nearer to the stock Android experience.

So, these are few reasons you should go ahead and buy the redmi 6 Pro if you are looking for a smartphone in the range of Rs 10000. Even though the smartphone costs RS 11,000 for the 3GB Ram and 32 GB variant, the feature it brings justifies the price.

My only complaint is, they used last year’s Snapdragon 625, which is not bad, but they could have used the Snapdragon 636 which was used in the redmi note 5 Pro, and considering the redmi Note 6 Pro is going to have a Snapdragon 660.
