Xiaomi has launched ye another budget friendly phone in India, it’s Redmi Note Prime and the price is Rs 8,499/-.
The device will be exclusively available on Amazon.in and Mi.com (sorry Flipkart). The sale will go live at 10 AM, December 15 Onwards.
The phone is manufactured in India in partnership with Foxconn Technology Group. The phone is Xiaomi’s second phone launched under the ‘Made in India’ initiative to manufacture everything from start to finish in India only.
Now, let’s talk about the specs of the device
We reviewed the Redmi Note 4G few months ago, and this Redmi Note Prime is actually an upgrade of that model. While everything about the Redmi Note 4G was great, it lacked a bigger storage space and was given a mere 8GB, the 4G model was also a single SIM phone.
While not much as changed in the specs, Redmi Note Prime comes with a 16GB internal storage and Dual SIM with both supporting the 4G.
And yes it will have Android 4.4, that’s not quite an impressive thing, when Google Launched Android 6.0, but hey, its a Rs 8,499/- Device. So, No Complaints;
In just a few years, Xiaomi has made a mark in the Indian Market and has created a market for itself. Xiaomi Note Prime can be a nice phone for college going students or housewives who are looking for a smartphone to use WhatsApp and other apps like Instagram.
So, wait for the launch date, its 15th December.
