A couple of weeks ago, I was discussing ways the smartphone makers can get rid of the Notch, and one of the Ideas I shared was if smartphone makers can come up with a secondary display at the back that makes the use of the back camera as selfie camera.

Not only users will get high-quality selfies, but the need for a notch to house the front camera will also be gone.

Seems like Nubia from ZTE got the same idea, and they have come up with exactly that. Nubia X is their smartphone that ditches the notch and gets an all screen front display. Here it is in action,

The Nubia X is a flagship level smartphone which is powered by Snapdragon 846 processor having 6GB or 8GB RAM and comes in three storage variants, 64GB/128GB/256GB storage.

The Dual SIM based smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Orea with Nubia UI 6.0.2 and has a 3800mah battery.

The front display is  6.26-inch Full HD+ with 2289×1080 pixels with ultra slim bezels.

Talking about the secondary display on the back, it’s a 1520×720 OLED display meaning you cannot even take high-quality selfies, but also view them on the secondary display.

The smartphone also has got two fingerprint sensors places on the sides, so that you can use either of them to unlock the phone, doesn’t matter you are using the primary or the secondary display.

The only difficulty the users are going to face is using a case with it.

The smartphone will only be available within China, although you can import is from websites like Gearbest.

It is priced at $1286 on Gearbest, which seems a bit aggressive, even for a smartphone with two displays.
