Downloading photos or videos from Your WhatsApp Status
The photos or videos that you have posted on your WhatsApp status might already be there in your gallery since you have uploaded them, but for some reason, if you have deleted it from your gallery and want to save it again.
You can do it by typing on the top right-hand side to get the option to save the status on your phone.

The simplest and the easiest option would be to simply message them and ask for sending you the photo of the video.
But if you do not want to do it for some reason, there are definitely ways to do it.
The first way is to actually find the path where it has been saved. The photos or videos in WhatsApp status of others that you view are automatically saved in a WhatsApp folder, you just need to navigate to that folder.
You can use WhatsApp Status Downloader. Then go to the following Path.
Phone storage→ Whatsapp Folder → Media folder → .Statuses folder will have all your seen status.
(Make sure you check to show hidden files in the Display Settings in ES Explorer)
If you do not want to install the ES Explorer, you can install another app called WhatsApp Status Downloader
That actually makes it easier to view the saved WhatsApp status in that hidden folder. All the scene WhatsApp status would be visible in this app and you can directly post the status to your WhatsApp.
Here are exact steps
Open WhatsApp and view stories that you wanted to save on your device.
Next, open Status Saver Downloader – Images and Videos and then click on Recent Status to View and save Stories.
Click on the Save, Repost or delete option as per your choice.
