It’s surely is a heartbreaking situation when you lose all your contacts from your phone book. Usually, Google offers this backup and sync contacts feature so that you never have to worry about losing contacts if you lose your mobile phone or lose access to it.
You can always log in to your Google account from PC all phone and get all your contacts that have been synced in the cloud.

But in Jack’s situation, the contacts have been deleted from Google itself which means there is no way the backup and sync feature can help us here.
The contacts have been deleted from the cloud as well and all you get is ‘ no contacts saved’ everywhere you log into your Google account.
Fortunately, this is not really an uncommon situation, in Google knows about this. This is why you will find an ‘Undo’ button in the desktop version of the contacts page in your Google account.

You will we welcome to buy a blank space which would say that there are ‘no contacts saved’. But, on the bottom left-hand side, you will find the ‘Undo’ button. Clicking on which will give you several options to rollback your contacts to the previous situation.
The predefined options are, 10 minutes ago, 1 hour ago, yesterday, one week ago. And there is also a custom option to select any date prior to a day before this tragedy happened.
But, for most of the people, it would go as far as one week ago. So, you do not have to worry about it since Google has got you covered.
This should be obvious to you but still, note that you will not find any contacts you have saved after the rollback time.
But if you are still missing a few numbers that you called today or yesterday, and they are still there in your call history, you can install the Truecaller app to find the names of the contact numbers and save them manually to your phone book.
Make sure you always keep the contacts synced from the settings section of your Android phone.
