Since we now live in a world of apps and notifications, things have changed the way we communicate.
You can follow your favorite brands on Twitter or Facebook, tweet to them or tag them in your Facebook posts if you want something to be resolved, email isn’t the only option left now.
Also, there would be some email newsletters that you wouldn’t want anymore. There can be many more things that are overcrowding your inbox.
We would recommend you set aside some time to unsubscribe from unwanted emails so that you can have a clean inbox that can be tackled and you get to see the crucial emails, not the emails that you no longer want.
You may have signed up for some newsletters that you no longer wish to receive. The good thing is that most of them would have an unsubscribe button in every email. You just need to click the unsubscribe link.
You can get that in the footer of the email, and it is usually written in small fonts. Clicking on the link would open a new page in a new tab from where you can and subscribe to the newsletter.
The option to unsubscribe to these emails are given for the convenience of the recipient who no longer wishes to receive these emails.
You will still find few newsletters which would not give the option to unsubscribe, so the second best thing you can do is block such emails so that they do not appear in your Gmail inbox.
