In this article, you will know how you can enable split screen feature in any of the Xiaomi devices. I,f you are running MIUI 9 on your smartphone then the feature is already built into it and you don’t need to do anything else or install any kind of app for enabling the split screen
How to enable the split screen feature
After making sure that your phone is running on MIUI 9, you can tap on the recent button, this will show all the recent apps.
You will notice ‘Split Screen’ written on the top area of your screen, tap on it and Simply drag one of the apps from the recent app cards to the split screen area. It will automatically Trigger the Split Screen feature and the selected recent app will take half the screen,
And for the rest of the half of the screen, you can select another app either from the recent apps or by going to the home screen and selecting an app.

Note: Also, keep in mind that not all the apps support screen feature, for example, Instagram is yet to bring an update that will let the app support the split screen feature.
