Google Maps is one of the most essential apps you will find on an Android smartphone, and for a lot of people, it is essential even on an iPhone as well.
And it becomes so easy when you have tagged your Home address as well as your Work address in Google maps so that it becomes easier for you to follow the traffic directions and reach your destination on time.
For a lot of us, the Home address is not something that is going to change more often than the Work address.
Maybe you have switched jobs, there is a lot of things that you will have to do when you do it and one of them is to change your work address in Google maps.
And if you don’t know about it, it’s very easy to change Work address or any address you have saved in Google maps.
How do you change you saved addresses in Google maps?
Well, you will have to open Google maps and then go to ‘Your places’ which will give you a list of all the places you have saved.
The list also includes your Work address as well as the Home address that you have pinned on Google maps.
You will have to tap on the three vertical dots that appear against the Work address. tapping on the three vertical dots will give you the option to either remove or edit the address.
When you tap on edit, you will be able to pin your new Work address on Google maps and then save it.
Once you have saved it, you will also be able to set up your commute, which basically means that you can set up time when you leave for your Work and when you leave for your Home, so that it can automatically notify you about the traffic conditions when you are about to leave.

You can make the most of Google maps by saving your favourite places you can name them so that you can directly ask you Google assistant to navigate you to that particular location.
It is particularly useful if the place you are trying to reach is not a popular location on Google maps.
What’s great is that Google Maps gives you the option to create a list, so that you can keep your saved pages separately in other lists.
Google Maps also gives you the option to save your parking space whenever you are parking your vehicle so that it is easier for you to locate it when you come back searching for your vehicle in a large parking area.
