How to Use WhatsApp on Multiple Devices Even When Your Mobile Has No Internet

If you are looking to use your WhatsApp on multiple devices such as computers and other mobile phones, the new update from WhatsApp allows you to use your WhatsApp account on up to four additional devices. Continue reading this article to know more about how this works.

WhatsApp is widely used by more than a billion people, it is the primary mode of communication for families, friends, and even businesses. WhatsApp did allow the use of their service on multiple devices with the introduction of the WhatsApp Web, but it had its own limitations.

WhatsApp brings multi-device support

The WhatsApp you install on your mobile phone needs to stay connected to the internet in order for you to access it on the WhatsApp Web. What the new Beta update from WhatsApp allows people to use WhatsApp on up to four additional devices without their phone being connected to the internet all the time.

This is helpful in many situations for example if your mobile battery dies, you can continue the conversation on other devices where you have linked to WhatsApp. Or maybe your mobile is misplaced or lost or stolen you you would be able to access WhatsApp from other linked devices.

How to link devices to WhatsApp

It still works like WhatsApp web, you can find the option to link two devices by tapping on the three dots that appear on the top right-hand side of your mobile phone screen.

This pops up several options one of them would be linked devices. When you open that section, you will have to join beta since this new update is currently in beta.

Once you have joined the beta, you will be able to link other devices to your WhatsApp so that you can use it on multiple devices. Currently, it allows 4 additional devices, meaning you will be able to access WhatsApp from 5 devices.

How to use WhatsApp on multiple mobiles

Currently, the only way to link WhatsApp to other devices is by scanning a QR code by opening web.whatsapp.com, which only can be opened on a computer and does not support mobile phones.

You can however use a workaround to access WhatsApp on multiple mobile phones using this technique. If you have an Android smartphone, you can search for WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp scan in the Play Store. You will find plenty of options available you can install any of them you like.
